Land Planning
Here you will find land planning information on Dublin Airport.
Since the late 1940’s the Department of Transport has been providing information on airport safety and environment issues to local planning authorities in order to inform their decision making process in relation to new residential development applications in the vicinity of Dublin Airport.
From the early 1970’s the Department of Transport and daa (previously Aer Rianta) have provided noise forecasts and contours to Fingal County Council for incorporation into successive County Development Plans in order to assist them in the determination of new residential planning applications in the airport environs. In this context, decisions regarding all planning in the vicinity of the airport rests solely with the planning authorities.
